Join the Water Tectonics, Inc. manufacturing team and become a key contributor to the hydraulic fabrication department. This function's primary responsibilities and activities include assembly and installation of system plumbing, components and hardware while contributing to overall production of high quality water treatment systems.

Primary responsibilities include:

1. Assembly and installation of all in-house built water, pneumatic and chemical plumbing and corresponding components. Person will be responsible for prepping, assembling and installing all hydraulic, chemical and pneumatic components as well as helping install other items such as HVAC units, pumps, control cabinets, etc. This entails paying extreme attention to detail while producing high quality workmanship.

2. Contribute toward overall cleanliness and ongoing improvements in the facility.

3. Setup and hydraulically test systems after completion. This entails pressure testing all components to test for leaks before the start of 24 hour function tests. Systems will be demobilized and drained after testing to prepare for shipping.

4. Assisting field technicians on local jobs as-needed during busier months.

  • Must be detail oriented
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Listens well and complete tasks with verbal or written instructions
  • Follows workplace safety practices
  • Able to Read Schematics
  • Good mechanical “know-how”
  • Knowledgeable with basic/power tools and their safe use
  • Good measuring skills and can accurately read a tape measure
  • Familiarity with hardware
  • Experience with plumbing components
  • Ability to problem solve/troubleshoot
  • Good eye for Quality Control
  • Hard worker
  • Dependable and reliable

Must be able to perform physical demands of:

  • Lift/carry materials up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform duties requiring climbing, bending, pulling, walking and standing up to 100% of workday
  • Work conditions will vary with duty and responsibilities and will require outside activity.
